It all began in 2009 when founder Marcus Delgado opened a humble kitchen on Holiday Drive in Bloomington, Illinois, with one mission: bring bold, ranch-inspired pizza flavors to the heartland of America. The pizza ranch concept was simple — marry classic Italian pizza-making techniques with the rustic, hearty spirit of ranch cooking.

What started as a tiny counter-service spot quickly grew into a full restaurant. Word spread fast across Bloomington that pizzaranch was doing something truly unique — hand-stretched dough, house-made ranch-infused sauces, and farm-fresh toppings sourced from local Illinois producers. The First Ranch Oven

Marcus Delgado opens the original Pizza Ranch counter at 1211 Holiday Dr with just three employees, one stone oven, and a dream to serve the best ranch pizza in Illinois.

2011

First Dining Room Opens

Demand exceeds counter space. Pizza Ranch expands into a full sit-down dining room, seating 60 guests. Wait times over weekends confirm the community loves the pizza ranch concept.

2013

Local Sourcing Pledge

Pizza Ranch signs long-term agreements with five Illinois farms to supply seasonal produce, artisan cheeses, and antibiotic-free meats — reinforcing our pizzaranch commitment to freshness.

2015

Online Ordering Launched
